Abstract


This research is motivated by low student learning outcomes in integrated IPS lesson. Based on the background of the problem, conducted research on improving learning results of integrated IPS using guided inquiry method of students of class VIII SMPN One Roof 11 Merangin 2015/2016 school year. The purpose of this study to determine the use of guided inquiry method is expected to improve the results of learning IPS integrated class VIII SMPN One Atap 11 Merangin. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK). This study consisted of 2 cycles. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the use of guided inquiry method can improve student learning outcomes. For that the authors suggest to the integrated IPS teachers to use guided methods of inkuri in the learning process so that student learning outcomes can increase.
